MANILA DESIGN WEEK

We're all geared up for Manila Design Week! We're sponsoring the Wall Lords Event on the first day of the week, that's August 7. 8 crews will battle it out for wall lords supremacy and represent our country for the international showdownat Shanghai, China.

70s rock gods collaborate with young artists and designers to give you their new rendition of their old albums. You have to see all the great works in MANILA SOUND VISION at THE CLOTHING in CUBAO expo! See works of Okto, K.o. , Bulb, CHICHI,KD DRAGON, Mark Salvatus, Poklong , Dex Fernandez , Jason Mossand many more!

WALL LORDS UPDATE

Exactly 14 days til WALL LORDS people!
We're all really excited for this and we're pretty sure you are too!

But before anything else, we have a simple request for everyone at the event,
ABSOLUTELY NO TAGGING PLEASE!! :)
We cannot stress this enough folks. This could get you (or the crew you're affiliated with) kicked out of the event. So yeah, deadly serious. We will have a tag wall set-up during the event so we hope everybody can comply with this.

In case you haven't had the chance to check out the new poster, please do so now!
Nothing much has changed except that ENTRANCE IS FREE! :)

I was talking to Tilt last night, and as always he taught me a lot of things. About Graffiti, concepts, the old school and the new school.. art. How you yourself has to push things forward. There is one prevalent topic though that we really agreed upon and laughed about.
For all those internet bombers.
Instead of saying that , what you're really saying is this.

I just found this funny and applicable to the graffiti scene here now. There are two ways to look at this, it's either change your perspective on what you're really doing, or do things the harder way.

All Black And White Everything

It's the end of 2009.

Enter 2010.

In the entrance of a new decade , the things that inspire me remain to be black and white, clear as ice. It's seeing the simplicity in the lack of color that you see a much deeper spirit in the things you want to do.

The lack of color here is also looking at the end result where the picture is final. Nothing more to add, nothing more to erase...This is what keeps me going. Never be distracted by what is right in front of you. Instead, look straight through to the end where you should see the colored picture.
